Jon writes country songs from the road. Hailing from Crocodile Dundee territory and now based in Northern Queensland, he has been chasing a microphone, a melody and a story across Australia for more than two decades.

His songs have taken him further than most. A chance meeting with Kenny Rogers' band on Kenny's final Australian tour led to an afternoon masterclass in Darwin — and a few months later Jon was on a plane to Nashville, recording with the same hit-makers who had backed Kenny for years. He still works with them today.

Closer to home, Jon's latest single — “I Don’t Really Mind” — written, recorded, produced and released entirely on his own, climbed all the way to #1 on the Australian Country Thunder Top 30. And the Australian Songwriters' Association honoured him with the Rudy Brandsma Award for Songwriting Excellence — selected by his fellow songwriters from his complete body of work that year.
