We live in a sunburnt country and cope with bushfires, drought and flood

But our farmers now answer to armchair experts and are paying with their blood

Generations of farmers have fed us and now they need a hand

So save our most endangered species and fight for the man on the land

Veganazis steal their livestock, causing untold grief and harm

Terrorising rural families; when did it become OK to raid a farm?

Chinese open their chequebooks; our farms and water are in demand

Soon all we eat could be Chinese food if we don’t fight for the man on the land

Farmers have to feed their stock and feed their families too

While the banks behave like loan sharks ready to tighten the screws

Supermarket chains are guilty too and we need to make a stand

Putting profit before humanity they don’t care about the man on the land

Their kids are leaving for the cities as farmers struggle with self-worth

Some close up shop and walk off the block … some choose to leave Mother Earth
