Chasing Rainbows - (c) Jon Davis

Spending all your time chasing boys in Rock ‘n’ Roll

One night stands and promises all based on alcohol

Now matter how hard you try you always seem to lose

Maybe there could just be something more

When you get tired of chasing rainbows

When you know where you want to be

If you no longer want to play around

You could always come to me

Skin tight shorts and sweaty socks are fun for you to see, but

Athletes and Football stars will never truly be

You follow them from game to game and yet you never win

And they don’t even know you have a name

When you get tired of chasing rainbows

When you know where you want to be

If you no longer want to play around

You could always come to me

Bridge

I don’t know how to kick a ball, and I could not sing rock ‘n’ roll

But I know how to love and care, and you don’t get that just anywhere …

Solo

So if you have a change of heart, you know that I’m around

Just waiting on the sidelines, until, I guess, I’m found

What you see is what you get, and that you know is true

From here, the rest is up to you

When you get tired of chasing rainbows

When you know where you want to be

If you no longer want to play around

You could always come to me
